When the Living Spring Children’s Home was established, all the children lived in the Big Dorm（The LOVE Home）. After the other homes operates, only the young boys, who are mostly studying in primary school, ordinary or specialized secondary schools, continue to live in the LOVE Home.
There are office, classrooms and a canteen. The staff and the boys’ bedrooms and bathrooms are on the second floor.
Not only a place to have meals, the canteen is also where the children chitchat. It is the kids’ favourite place to exchange ideas after school.
Many children in The Love Home go to school on weekdays. During weekends, besides tutorial classes, there are other activities such as playing basketball, chess, music, planting and hiking etc.
Children in their teens may be aggressive. Through playing ball games, they not only have physical training, but also have their mind trained so that they know how to cope with conflicts and emotions without resorting to violence.
Children with musical talent learn to play instruments and form the band, ‘The Wheat’. They express both their past sorrow and current vocation through music. They even have performed in Hong Kong!
Children love growing plant with their hands. The healthily growing plants look like witnessing the growth of them.
