In 2011, a girl came to the Living Spring Children’s Home. At that time, the Home was a place of boys only. The cohorts prayed for the girl that she could have a girl companion. Three or four months later, the second girl came! Therefore, the team began to think about founding a girls’ Home. Not long after, a familiar villager initiatively told us that she could rent the Home one of the storeys of her Home. It has now become the Gentleness Home.

The Gentleness Home is located on the highest storey.
The Life of the Gentleness Home
In the Gentleness Home, there is a ‘parent’ who takes care of a few girls. Besides supervising the girls to cook and take care of themselves like other parents, the ‘parent’ of Gentleness Home also dress up the girls, decorate the Home and plant flowers on the rooftop with them.

Sitting around the table, the girls have meals, do crafts, homework, and chat together.

A corner of the kitchen. The Gentleness Home cooks the rice and the Big Dorm prepares other dishes.

The ‘parent’ teaches the girls to make simple dishes like scrambled eggs.

After meals, everyone helps washing dishes and tiding up respectively.

In the Gentleness Home, there are a few bedrooms in which the beds are made tidily.

There are different decorations on the wall. Dolls are found on the kid’s bed.

Every girl decorates their own wardrobe uniquely. Perhaps the hearts represent their eagerness to be loved!

In the leisure time and weekends, the children share the chores to keep the Gentleness Home a decent home.
