The Living Spring Children’s Home once receive a mentally retarded girl, called En-hui. However, she was the only one kid with special needs in the Gentleness Home and it is not easy at all for her to adapt to the living style in the House. Thus, we could only send her to the Fuzhou Home. In 2014, another girl, Xiao-hua came to the Living Spring Children’s Home. Xiao-hua has no parents and she was taken care of by her grandma in the age of eighties. Before living in the Home, Xiao-hua could only rely on ‘hundred-home meals,’ which means begging for food from other families one by one.
When the cohorts were considering if the Home should receive Xiao-hua, a lady who is suitable to take care of her came to apply for a position with the Home. Meanwhile, the change of the Fuzhou Home also made it appropriate to move En-hui back to Quanzhou. Not only can Xiao-hua and En-hui be companions, there is also a ‘parent’ taking care of them. In addition, since the renovation of a few classrooms in the Big Dorm was completed, the storey used by the Joy Home for training could then be emptied. Therefore, the storey is just good to set up for the bedrooms of the new Home
All these have made the Kindness Home come into existence!

Albeit once without care and protection, Xiao-hua and En-hui have finally found their home.
The Life of the Kindness Home
As mentioned before, the Kindness Home and Joy Home shares the same building, so the facilities are the same. The two girls eat and go to school together.
